A solid oxide fuel cell (SOFC) is an electrochemical
conversion device that produces electricity
directly from oxidizing a fuel.

Conventional internal combustion engines have several disadvantages:
low efficiency, high noise, and tremendous environmental impact.
On the other hand, hybrid systems comprising of an internal combustion
engine that charges the batteries offer numerous benefits.
Such systems have low fuel consumption. They are much more
environment-friendly and energy efficient.

HOW IT WORKS
The lithium-ion battery is advanced battery technology. Lithium ions are the core
component of the electrochemical reaction.

During the discharge cycle, the lithium atoms in the anode are ionized and stripped of their electrons.
The lithium ions move away from the anode and pass through the electrolyte until they reach
the cathode where they recombine with their electrons and become electrically neutral.

Li-ion batteries may have very high voltage and capacity per mass or volume unit.

collaborates with the leading Russian
energy researchers.

We work on globally competitive, high energy
density batteries (up to 300 W·h/kg)

Fluoride-ion batteries are solid-state devices.
They are more advanced than Li-ion batteries
and have a higher power density.

Another substantial benefit is the sustainable,
resource-saving manufacturing of battery components.

OUR GOAL
Through Hi-Energy collaboration with the leading
researchers, soon we will launch the world's first
production of fluoride-ion solid electrolyte batteries.

Further commercialization will significantly improve
the performance, bringing a breakthrough battery
technology to drones, electric cars, and other
electric vehicles
